I looked around this forum and gound many good ideas for in-depth cleaning of a boat.

I just want to get some information on what to wash with after each trip out. Hot water? Bleach? Car Wash? Dish soap?

I know it seams simple but perhaps there are some good solutions or something to specifically avoid.

Thanks,

Thompmik

hands down, the best hull cleaner is on/off. the really just spray it on and watch everything fall off in about 45 seconds. nasty stuff though, wear gloves and a full face mask if you can get one. almost killed myself 3 times.

if on/off is so strong, will it hurt the gelcoat or wax finish?

On/Off is an excellent wax remover. Learned that the hard way. Simple Green works well and is a lot nicer to the environment.
