What tools do I absolutely need???

Hi folks,<br /><br />I am seriously thinking about going out and purchasing any and all tools that I need to become a serious outboard mechanic (in my spare time).<br /><br />Since many of you have years of experience (and probably years of tool buying), I was wondering if you could help me formulate a list of the "MUST HAVE TOOLS" before I start purchasing.<br /><br />Obviously, the first tool you need is a brain that is decent at mechanics and problem solving. I think I have that... what else???<br /><br />(I know there are many, but I appreciate your help and input.)<br />If you have an estimate on prices, or places to buy that would be great also!<br /><br />Thanks, <br />bbb

I have never purchased a single tool until I needed it. This is a pretty painless meathod also.<br />Some tools are even made in the well-equipped garage, for special applications like seal removal, bearing retainer wrenches and such.

We closed our dealership and still have many special tools for Evinrude/Johnson & OMC stern drives. Email for list of available tools with prices. <linda@nu-z.net>
