I've got my electric shift outdrive torn apart and am now reassembling. My manual says to use 3M 1300 gasket adhesive on the spline shaft seal of the water pump shaft. Does anyone have a suggestion for a substitute? Can I just use some black silicone? Any advice appreciated!
