i have a 92 200 gt johnson, i just bought a manual for it and was reading it , i am so confused? the manual mentioned cross flow and looper? cd2-4-6-8 iginition systems? and last it mentioned 60 degree and 90 degree. my # j200stlens in help is appreciatd in telling:confused: me exactly what i do have

Your motor is a V6, the 60 and 90 refer to the angle of the 'V'. 60 degree is a tighter V shape so as to make the motor more compact. In 1992, Johnson made both types although I think the 200 was not available in the 60 degree (someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

Loop charged (looper) and crossflow refer to the way the fuel is managed inside the combustion chamber. Loopers are far more efficient and produce more bang for your buck. In 1992, Johnson made both types.

In 1992, all 60 degree blocks were loopers but the 90 degree block could be a looper or a crossflow.

The CD# refers to the type of ignition system (the powerpack), yours is a CD6.
