What was your first car?

Boring Saturday night. Not much in the mood for roundball ( although I'm pulling for the SEC' two schools). Thought I'd ask this interesting cross section of fine folks on the board about your first car. Mine was a 63 Chevy Bel- Air 327 4 barrel. I wish I still had her.

1986 baby blue Ford Tempo. Put that car through the ringer and sold it with 170k on the odometer. Only two options it had were auto and air. Came with an am radio...

My first car was a pick up truck, aint that an Alan Jackson song? 76 F150 with 390 and C6 automatic.

'72 Pontiac Ventura, baby crap yellow. Got caught in a snow bank and banged up the front fender on a telephone pole. Put a "new" green Bonneville fender in its place - My ride became a "Venaville." Man, that old Venaville would run. Had 180,000 miles when I sold it. It was still running with 270,000 last I knew.

My first car was a truck also. 1966 Chevy short wheel base, stepside, 250 inline six, Three on the tree, and a gun rack in the rear window. <br /><br />My Dad bought it new for about 1400 dollars. The only option he got with truck was a rear bumper.

Mine was a 1961 Cadillac Sedan, 4-Dr, had a big block, 429?? Passed everything on the road except the gas station. paid $50 and when I first looked at it it was out in a field, up on blocks (no wheels or tires) and the owner had been storing bagged chicken feed in it. Surprisingly it ran and well. Only thing I had to do was wheels / tires, a battery and patch a hole in the gas tank........

Mine was a '73 Plymouth 'Cuda. Had it brand new and sold it after I got married instead of putting in a new transmission. Shoulda gotten the trani.

1990 Jeep Cherokee...just finished more or less completely rebuilding it and then a ditch ran out in front of me and I totaled it.

'67 Mercury Cougar, liked it, since, bought and sold a '71, and now have a '69 XR7 in my garage.

first I owened that I was licensed to drive was a 63 studebaker, then a 61, then a 72 monte carlo and a 69 442. at age 18 I moved up to a 70 W-30 442 that I got rid of last summer.<br /> last I counted since age 15 I had owened some 218 vehicles of varying descriptions, some ya buy for 50 bux and runem till they quit and call the junk yard

A 1957 Willies Jeep with a six cylinder flathead,had it for 2 weeks and traded it for an Eagle Command car

First car I paid for, wasn't titled in my name, but that was a 1986 Cavalier coupe (4cyl 5sp, with A/C!).<br />First car that I actually had the title for was a 1990 Cavalier Z-24 (bought it off my sister in 1994). I kept it until 1999, and it had 186,000 glorious miles on it! I loved that car!
