What was your first motor boat? Second?

About 25 years ago, my 1st was a 14' wood/fiberglass composite boat.
It rode great, but I only had a 10hp on it, and it needed 30 to 40hp.

I paid a few hundred for it, I think, and still regret that I sold it.

I suppose a good follow-up would be - what did you buy next?

So, second was a Loweline 16' aluminum fishing boat. Much newer,
and supposed to be better, but it was not better. It did not ride as smooth
as the 14' wood/fiberglass I first had. I actually thought that the 14' was
a Chriscraft, but somebody told me it was a White. Still don't know for sure.

Doesn't matter, I still miss it...

My first boat is my current Glastron GX-255 bow rider.

However, when I lived in the Keys, I had full access and use of a 1987 (?) 17 ft Four Winns bow rider. All I had to pay for was fuel and clean it after use (which I did often). It was a great keys boat.

My first was at 12, a little tiny dingy names the Dink III, had some weird trolling motor on it. My second, at 13 was a 12' v-hull tinnie with a 10hp Scott/Mcoulough on it, it flew.

My current boat is my 3rd boat, I got it this April at 42 years of age. Yeah, way to long to go without a boat!

My first was a 12ft sears jon boat with a 7.5 Chrysler great little lake and canal boat even took it off at card sound bridge area one time(bay),2nd is the on e I own now sportcraft 15ft Tri-hull with a 60 rude

my first was a homebuilt 14ft x 40 inches, 1955 15 hp evinrude tiller, 3/8 plywood. great boat. many of us learned to ski with it
