I posted this on the prop board also, I think I will get more help here though.

Could anyone tell me what washers and/or spacers are required on a 1989 Force 125 prop shaft?

I have the big thrust washer ( the thick one with the step in it), then the prop, then a splined spacer, then a small washer befor the nut.

the small washer on the end that the nut tightens against is only big enough to go over the threads, not the splined area so when I tighten the nut down, it tightens to the washer which tightens to the top of the splines, not tight to the splined washer at the prop. I have some play in the prop, about 3/16 that the prop will slide in and out. Am I missing something? some sort of spacer? or is the splined spacer I have worn too thin, or the wrong one all together?

thanks,
Brian

If it is possible to get some numbers off of your washers, spacers, or whatever is actually there, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

im running the old closed end prop right now my old one was your type it had the 2 step then the prop then the knotched spacer then a washer then a nut, what i run now is the 2 step washer prop then flair then nut if u need i will take pics of my current setup as well as my old one. seems that u have the right amount of spacers just not the right thickness...
