what water pump model?

I own a merc.blackmax v-6 200 hp s/n 0a957880 and have overheating problems at rpm over 4200....I replaced the poppet valve ass'y and thermos without any change.this problem seem commom on this motor serie if i make a search in this forum.My impeller is new and i think the next step is to replace entire pump and housing.My problem is when i search in part finder section ,i can't say what serial number range is my motor.Someone can say what model will fit my motor?There is 2 complete kit available:18-3319 and 18-3316.

The differance is in the w/base yours should be 18-3319. Also ck under the base in the pickup for old imp blades and be sure to seal the base gasket so it can't suck exhaust

part finder indicate model 18-3319 for s/n 6625221 and up AND 18-3316 for s/N 6625220 and below.can you explain me in what serial range is oa957880?i really don't understand this classification......if you are certain for model 18-3319 i will place my order today . thanks again

As serial numbers increased mercury decided ot omit the 7 diget numbers and go to a letter for the first diget and the 0 ahead of the A-B-C or what ever is a filler for the future I think
