just checked the compression on a blue band and number 1 cyl has only 1/2 of the cpmpression as the other 3 cyl.want to use the boat nexth weekend and if i use it the way it is will i damage it if i work the motor at say i/2 power? to fish? and what is the worst that might happen? thanking you

You'll do more damage. You could try a decarb to see if this helps. If not you'll need to tear into the powerhead to see what the problems is

The cause of low compression may be as simple as carbon build-up causeing stuck rings on that cylinder. A decarb procedure may solve that problem. On the other hand, that cylinder and piston may already be scored and in the process of total destruction so running it any longer will only hasten total failure.
