Hello, I am finally the proud owner of a foot controlled 12/24 volt trolling motor. It is an OMC model OBFL4A. I bought it used and of course it did not come with instructions. It has a 4 prong plug in which I assume plugged perfectly into a plug in built into the bass boat it came off of. I am trying to put it on a pontoon boat and have no idea what wires hook up to what prongs. It has one large, one small, and two mid size that are just alike. Can anyone tell me how to hook this critter up? Also, would anyone happen to know how much thrust this motor has on 12 and on 24 volts. BTW, the foot control has a toggle switch for 12 or 24. Thank you for any help and any info on this motor that you can give.
