what wires are these

I pulled my bravo I drive off today to discover a orange and tan or brown wire running just in front of my carrier bearing? What in the heck are those for? Are they going to get messed up by the driveshaft?

Is the drive equipped with the Mercathode corrosion protection system ? I believe those wires run from the Mercathode module (in the engine compartment) to the Cathode which is mounted under the trim line block (under side of the transome). You will need to make sure that they (the wires) don't contact the driveshaft.
