i believe the first number is the year.. so i believe it would be a 1987. i have an 88dt 150 and mine starts with an 8 hope this helps

704381<br /><br />7= year it was made, it could be for example 1987 or 1997.<br /><br />04381 = engine number.<br /><br />I think, but not 100% sure, that DT150 came 1988 and was in production to 2001, so You could draw the conclusion from Your information above it is a 1997 DT150 You have. Do You think that can be the case? (should probably be in rather good shape if a 1997 then).<br /><br />/Bo

First year of Suzuki sixes was 1986. Probably is an 87. If yours is a greenish grey with black trim on the cowl then I would definately say so.
