what year 90 Evinrude

I have searched for this, but alas, nothing seems to work. a buddy just bought a boat with a 90 'rude. I told him where to look on the motor bracket for the model number and he swears it's not there....
He came up with the following numbers stamped on the heads...317850, 317851

Also, this number on the intake 318140.

Any and all help is appreciated...

The head # shows 73/74 115 hp.

Thanks for the help...actually it turned out to be a 115, not a 90, but is a '73 model..good call!!
