what year and best manual

i just purchased an older evinrude mod# 40652B and ser# E02052 it is blue in color 40 HP and has BIG TWIN on it. i think it is a 1966 40 hp but need confirmation. also, what is the best manual out there for doing work on the unit myself? Oh, and the prop is a michigan # PJ35. what other #s will work? Thanks so much, Dvae

The Seloc (aftermarket) manual is pretty good for that engine. The OEM manual is pretty good too, but I find the Seloc is just a little more useful. Both is best. <br />OEM manuals can be gotten from kencook.com, or often (much cheaper) from ebay.
