What Year are my Johnson Outboards?

A friend of my wife just cleaned out her storage shed and gave me 2 Johnson Outboards.
1 is a Sailmaster 8 Model# J8SRLCDE the other is a Colt Model# JC0ESE I'm curious whay year they are. Both were built in Belgium. They're both in fantastic condition. Any clues?

J8SRLCDE is an 86
JCOESE is a 90

BTW in the 1990 model number the third character is an O as in Ocean, not a zero.
