What year is my Mariner outboard.

I have a 3 cyl 60 hp mariner outboard and the serial number plate is missing but i found a number on a core plug on the power unit and the number is A753324 is this the serial number or just casting number. Any help would great in finding out what year this engine is. Thanks in advance.
