what year is my merc...sn 7018238

i'd like to know what year is my merc and where to find parts for that
serial number 7018238. I went on a couple of site and they dont got
that serial anywhere... so any idea on how to search for a rectifier or stator..

Looks like a Canadian serial number in which case it would be a 1973,

ok, now i know it's a 73, but how do i check for parts in those site
because they keep asking me for a 8 digits number the first as to be a letter...
it's killing..... suck to be me sometimes.

Click this link , then click the year/model thing upper left. Go to the 150...maybe this will get ya on track..be the same motor..

Heres some of it. Don't se jack about some first letter..how are you dealing with?

Serial numbers 3502806 thru 3752619 were 1973 models.
