What year is my merc?

Hi i have a 150 mercury laser xr1 , now what i dont know is the year. i was looking through out the whole motor and didnt find the serial number sticker which should be on the swivel bracket. i do have a number that i got from the engine that i think might be the serial number c1368858. please help me out.
