I'm hoping someone can help me restore this old beast... I think it's a Canadian sereial number, if that helps....
As per the title...What year is my Mercury 500 (50hp) with a serial number of 7069561 and what are the part numbers fo a standard prop, carb kit and impeller for this?

Here's your parts catalog and you can find some basic information to start searching for a propeller by OEM part numbers even though the numbers are shown to be no longer available. Get the part numbers and run them through a google and eBay search to see if you can find something to match.

I'm just happy and surprised your serial number came up in the computer system like that because being a 1976 engine model, it's normally kind off a pain in the tail to find "detailed" info like above. It requires extra homework if it's not in the system.
