Re: what year is my Mercury?

thanks a bunch,i just had the powerhead rebuilt and i need to get it re-propped.The motor is on a 16' Tracker bass boat thats kind of heavy with dual batterys/livewells.I was thinking of going woth a 10/13 aluminum prop,we tested it out with a
10/10(thats all we had) but the motor would turn well over 6000rpm's so we kept the throttle back to about 5700RPM.I think the 13 pitch should get me in the 5700 range at WOT where i was told would be idea.Any prop suggestions you could give?

I copied this from the FAQ's

"Pitch Recommendations:
As a general rule, 2 inches in pitch change will result in a 350-400RPM change. EXAMPLE: A 15 inch pitch prop turns 5600 at WOT. A 17 inch pitch on the same engine/boat would turn about 5200RPM at WOT.
"

-andy
