What year is this black max 150?

Serial number is OB279225 I think its a B and not a 8. Not sure though.... So what can you guys tell me with that serial number?

Are you sure? The boat is a 1988 and was told that the motor was a 1988 also. Wanted to make sure. I was wondering because usually the 88 bass trackers came with the tracker series motors and a 110hp. This is a 150hp and a black max.

The 1989's sr # have 0C at the beginng, so 1988 would probly be a correct
assumption.
Go to Merc express and enter the sr# and maybe something there will confirm that for you. But w/the sr3, you can always make sure you are getting the correct parts for your motor.
