What year is this Honda classic?

Hello I just got a 4 strokes Honda classic 8hp short shaft for $600 is this a fair price? it starts on the second pull and I want to make sure I have the right year to order the manual and thank you in advance. BACE-1202307 BF8A

1991 -1998
ax is 1998 all others are 1991-97

Thank you The x owner told me it was a 1990.and my honda dealer told me it is a 1997!!!
