That is not a model number to a 225hp Evinrude/Johnson. The proper number would start out with something like J225SLES, J225PLES, J225TLES.<br /><br />It should be on the top portion of the swivel bracket, between the bracket and the engine, and also on a core plug (looks like a quarter size freeze out plug) on the center top portion of the exhaust baffle section (between the cylinder heads).

this is on the "round plug, its i believe under another number, i'm not with the boat right now, i will check tommrow, is there a web site for this ?

It's a 1988 Model. The"CC" in the number denotes the year.<br /><br />J=Johnson<br />225=HP<br />T=Trim & Tilt - Electric Start<br />X=Extra long shaft(25")<br />CC=Year 1988<br />B=Model Run
