What year is this model?

okay my father in law gave me this out board but i have no clue where to look for serial #, model #, ect it has nothing on it. It is a long shaft ect. Just need to know cause i can't start it.



It was started a few years ago and they had a hell of a time. The made sure the primer bulb was hard and they put a lighter to the spark plugs and still took 40-50 pulls to get it goin.

i don't even know what the knobs in the front are except the chock

or roughly what year range i can narrow it down to

The serial should be stamped on a plate on the transom bracket .... looks to me like a late 80's, early 90's model ..... these motors are great, all you need to do is a good carb clean and it will be good to go ....

Thank you out of 30 people no one could say that it would be good to be more specific if the plate is not there i will let you know and i will do a carb clean maybe squirt some gas in it too
