What year is this motor

It's been a while since I have posted on this site. A 12 foot late 1970's boat was given to me with an older 7.5 Merc outboard. I'm trying to figure out how old the merc is, the previous owner wasn't sure. It's serial number is 2533429. It's VERY clean and runs like a champ.

Comes up as;

7,5 75 2-cyl 2529895 2810636 1969 USA

I agree, this is the first I've seen in person and it's really cool. Here are some more shots.
