What year is this old Evinrude Motor???

I just got my hands on this motor at a great price. BUT i can not find the year of this motor. I have been looking and looking on the internet and to no luck i haven't found this motor. I have been looking at some PDF files that have the layout of the model and year look up but i havent found it yet. I figured that some of you guys and gals might have a idea of what motor i got.

So here is the Model and S/N: Model = 40553A S/N = E01135
the guy i got from said its a 40HP.
Please if you could tell me where to look at or help me out thanks in advance.

seems to be a 1965 40 hp. ( but a pic is worth its weight in gold)

I will get a pic out there soon next week im at work and motor is at home.
Thanks tho that seems to be right i'm gona double check on this website for some info on it thanks again.

1965 Big Twin Electric Start, Manual Shift. It left the factory as a long shaft but may have been converted to short (easy to do).
