I have a pontoon boat with a 70HP Tracker on the back, information is as follows:

Model # TJ70TLESF
Serial # G02492626

The boat is a 1989 28 foot sun tracker party barge.

Hopefully you knowledgeable individuals can tell me the year of the motor and where to find a manual. I have a huge issue with the engine wanting to start when it is cold (50F to 70F), it doesn't unless you help it with a shot of eather.

Once the engine is warm, it will start just fine.

The motor has electric chokes, I can hear the solenoid but can not see anything in the carbs on how the choke operates. I am hoping the manual will help me.

Thanks for all your help and support.

The engine is a 1990 model.

There is a black solenoid with a RED lever which is a fuel primer solenoid. When actuated, it allows fuel to pass thru it directly to the reed plate area.

I'm sure the manual will be of great help to you.

Thanks Joe - I thought that was the solenoid that was making the noise and you are right, all I saw was the fuel lines from the unit.

I will look for a manual for a 1990 3 cylinder johnson motor.

Thanks

Scott
