What Year Lower Unit

I have a 1989 125HP Force power head, for sure. But, when I ordered a new impeller and pump housing, I found out I have a different lower unit as you can see the different pump housings. The 1989 I ordered is on the left, but what I have is on the right. (see attach pic)

I think I actually have a newer lower unit than a 1989. Can anyone tell what year the pump housing on the right came from? I want to order new seals but not sure what year. I have more pictures of the lower (had hard enough time figuring how to downsize to allow attach).

the 1989 models came with 2 piece drive shafts, like yours in the photo, and with one piece full length driveshafts. I believe the new pump fits the one piece driveshaft models.

A competent Mercury parts counter man should be able to set you up with the right one.

Thanks roscoe. I want to re seal the lower at some point and was curious as to what year(s) the lower I have is.
