what year of johnson?

i have a johnson super sea horse 40 hp and am not sure of the year. the numbers I have been able to locate are 307770 and 307759 & 307806 AC. the last two are located near the spark plugs. any help would be appreciated.

Check for a plate between the two transom clamps, on top of the swivel bracket. Anything on the silver plug on the top of the back of the block (just above where the spark plugs are)? Those sound like casting numbers that arn't too much use.
