I inherited a Wards Sea King 7hp motor from an uncle. The numbers on it are:<br />K7002107A<br />649777<br />60 273 70R<br /><br />Any idea what year this is?

Your motor was built by Clinton and first appeared in 1970.My info only goes to 72<br />and the K700 was still in production then.<br /> Specs::7hp @6,800 rpm.7.75cu. in.,CJ8 plug @.025.<br />.020 point gap. 32:1 fuel mix use TCW3 rated oil.

Thanks for the info. I finally got it running and am still working on fine tuning the idle speed.
