What year Spirit no answer yet????

Hi I am not sure of the year all these numbers are on the plate.Its a 3.5 HP Spirit<br /> 0351 and 004112<br />then on a sticker theres this number 35002.<br />I am pretty sure this motor doesn't cool the engine as it operates but does it have what they call a wet leg? That is is there a water pump in the lower unit area that cools the exhaust leg of the engine? If so does this operate when prop is turning or when the engine is running? And who has parts?<br />steve

stinky2,<br /><br />Not sure about the year of your engine. However the Spirit is a Suzuki.<br /><br />A Suzuki (outboard) dealer should be able to help you.

I don't know about this one,, but I had a Ted Williams (Sears) 7 1/2 that was air cooled. But, it had the 'wet leg' you're talking about. <br />This motor only had neutral and go. The impeller was on the drive shaft so it only turned/pumped when the prop was turning.
