Re: what years fit what, Starchief windshields
Mattcap, windshield swaps from model to model is gonna be near impossible to figure on all models. It would be much easier to look at a specific model, understand which other models are built on the same platform during the same time period and go from there.
While the hulls are the same on what we call the big 4(Starchief/Holiday on one hull and Chieftain/Sunchief and later the islander which replaced the Sunchief on the other), the smaller boats are all on different hulls and the boat widths are different depending on the model. Some of the smaller models in the 60's are even the same boat with just a different seating layout.
With the cabin boats (Chieftain/Starchief) some of the side windows are different depending on the model year.
Your best bet would be to look at specific model specifications and measurements for specific years. (Wow I sure did use specific a bunch in that sentence hahahaha), see if the design is the same from say, the 64 to the 65, check the layout measurements from the two models, see if they are the same, and order accordingly.
Are you talking about the top windshield or the bottom one?
Edit-FWIW the 64 and 65 model is identical except for the hull change from Deep Vee to Concave Vee in 65.
