this Black Mamba was in my brothers garden , its about 45years old , 7meter long & has enough venom-en to kill 400 adults the most dangerous snake in Africa .

if you make this snake angry they rear up on their tail & through them self at you if you get bitten you have 3mint, s to live . the venom is neurotic it turns your blood into jelly in 3min

YUCK! A snake like that will not have to use it's venom since I would suffer heart failure from running away !!!

I will stick with my native Garter Snakes ............

We do have Rattler's here in VT too but rare.

Mambas, like some of our domestic N. American snakes, suffer mythological exaggeration of the threat they represent.

It doesn't seem to me of any value to think you would die in seconds when it might actually take several minutes or hours. Some people have actually survived Black Mamba bites. I sort of doubt that anyone would survive a full bite from a 7m mamba, though.

Avoid, at all cost, offending or frightening that serpent, and stay far away while doing so.

I bet as long as that snake is around there is no garden pest problem, you know like rabbits, I bet even the deer stay away. All of these creatures have a purpose in nature, I will admit I would not want that thing around my house.

Wrong colour and size for a Mamba.
Inside of their mouth is black, body is olive/gray.
Longest Mamba ever recorded was ~ 4-1/2 meters.

If it is 7 meters it is likely some sort of python.

Edit: Googled "Black mamba picture hoax" and this picture has been reported as far back as 2009, and in various locales worldwide...closest to home was in Louisiana.
Apparently it is a real picture, but not a Mamba, and was in Australia.

My impressions are that some of these African/Foreign snakes like the Mambas, Cobras, Taipans, Brown Snakes, etc. roam around freely looking for things to kill and eat...while our domestic, nice, friendly, peace-loving snakes like Rattlers, Moccasins, Copperheads, etc., do indeed tend to stay in the woods, hidden, out of the way at least. Don't think there'd be room in my neighborhood for me and that Black Mamba!...he'd definitely have to go!....
