whats the deal, having to buy new control cables , just to get the paper clip thingys that hold the pins in the engine ends of the cables, no dealers in id. or wa. will sell them seperate.
You can get a whole package of that size stainless steel cotter pins for about a buck at Lowes. They're in the cabinets on the specialty hardware aisle.
If you take off the exhaust cover (which I highly don't recommend) it'll be there. Along with any other hardware or sockets that have gone missing recently.
