Whats it worth?

I picked up a 78' 6 HP Evenrude on a rolling stand. I don't think it has ever been in salt water and it still has the inspection labels under the hood and on the transom clamp. It doesn't look like the hood was ever opened because it's so clean inside. There are a few minor blemishes on the hood probably from being bumped about in the garage. Just a few tiny paint flakes missing from the prop and lower end, no dings. Anyone like to guess what it's worth?

P.S. Started second pull and runs great. Haven't done a compression check.

$10:00 tops !!!!
Send it to me now and I will pay you double it's value !!!! LOL
Seriously though it is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it and you are willing to accept.
Good examples of these fine motors go for between $300 and $500 around here. It is also a supply and demand thing on price. Good kickers are extremely difficult to find around these parts at a reasonable price. Check local classifieds to give you an idea for your area.

great motor before you ruin it, read this, and put an impeller in it,
http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=158086 they are great for fishing in hp restricted lake, sailboats like them as auxillary engines, and they are liked as trolling engine on medium size boats. running properly, new impellar here i could easily get $500.
