1976 Sea Nymph 14R with a 1988 EZ-Loader trailer. The boat is in good condition with minor scratches from common use. It leaks very little. I installed marine grade floors and carpeted them, also I put in a custom casting deck with storage compartment. has pedestal seats. I put a lowrance color fishfinder in it, 50lb thrust motorguide foot operated trolling motor, rod holders, portable livewell. It has a excellent running 1996 johnson 15hp tiller outboard on it. Can anyone tell me about what this boat is worth?

Some places $750 or less and others $2000 or more....... you need to watching CL for comparison prices in your area. Really impossible to set a price on a timeless boat and motor rig. Aluminum boats never really die and are even better if never exposed to salt water......... if my geography does not fail me..... no salt water in Indiana!

I would think somewhere between $1200 and $2000 or more. Like Bob said, check craigslist and see what the market is like by you. I know here you can find 14fters with a trailer and no motor for $4-500, and some fully outfitted ones I have seen a $2500 asking price. I don't know what they actually got for them, but 2k seems realistic.

You could probably get $1200 around here if you weren't in too big a hurry to sell, maybe $1500 since the motor is relatively new and a desirable brand and horsepower. The thing is, buyers don't place the premium on add ons (front deck, fishfinder, FCTM, etc.) that sellers do when it comes to john boats. In fact, some view them as undesirable because they eat up valuable space on a boat was designed to be open and simple. Not knocking your accessory choices as they sound really nice, just giving you objective input based on my experience over the years.

My point of view would be that the engine on that rig is worth more than the boat and trailer. So much so that I myself would pass at even looking at it. Then add in the fact that it leaks a little and has a deck and carpet would equal more work and expense to repair it. That's me. Others my spend $1000-1500.00 and say they got a great deal.

I would say around $1600 - $1800 as a package. You could most likely get more if you seperate the motor.
