Yesturday...launched from Weymouth ramp at 7am...perfect launch...no rush..everything flowed as it should be...I was one with the universe.

After a great day out...new stereo works...new vinyl on interior all bright and shinny...feeling good (even though boat stalled 3 times after hitting/landing hard off some rather large wakes/waves)...pull into harbor near ramp and KNOW my patience will be tested...8 boats waiting to be pulled in front of me...fine. Turn up the stereo, grab a soda from cooler...hooked bouy with boat hook and waited. An hour later...it is finally my turn. I am soo happy...pull the boat up to the dock perfectly. Run and get truck while step-daughter hold the boat. Back the truck in perfectly...3 minutes have elapsed. Pull the boat onto trailer...flawlessly (like the frigging Swanlake of boat retreivals). Jump into truck...don't forget the emergency brake or to put it into gear (this is a first) and start to pull....OH SH1T! I forgot to raise the drive..WHEW...that was close...yell back to step-daughter...she raises it...I pull her out and sto pat "prep area". All in all.. 6 minutes max...and I feel real good about catching the down outdrive before scrapping anything. Go about with a little skip to my step re-connecting trailer lights...securing safety chain...what a wonderful day....
.
.
.
hmm...something seems wrong...but I just can't place it.
.
.
.
what's that sound?
.
.
.
yup.
heart dropped to my gut...
eyes widened..
.
.
.
forgot to turn off the motor.

-JustMrWill

ps...I will be replacing impeller this week. 8-(
