whats the best brand of water pump

hello im going to change the water pump assy on my 1997 115 90 degree crossflow,just wondering if its best to buy an oem or something like sierra brand [aftermarket].does anyone make a heavy duty or better than original equipment one.thanks for any input

I advise going with the OMC/BMC complete kit.It's installation literature will keep you apprised of any changes that may or may not apply to your particular engine.Not to mention ,better quality controlled parts.

On water pump kits and carb kits I agree totaly. OE is the way to fly.<br /><br />And dont change just the impeller. Get the complete kit.<br /><br />Good luck!

Yup, must agree here. Go with the OEM kit every time. The little things like included moly grease for the shaft splines and good instructions make it worth every cent!
