Re: Whats The Best Prop Size and pitch ??

There is no definate when it comes to prop. So many factors figure in i.e. boat size, hull design, prop material, weight of the boat and contents, and on and on. Check your rpm's, if your are running at or around the recommended wide-open-throttle range, then you are in the ballpark for the correct pitch. If you change from 3 to 4 blade or even to 5 blade, you will gain low end 'grunt' but will lose some top end speed. Same with increasing the diameter. Prop material is also a factor, aluminum will flex and decrease the actual pitch of the prop.
