Hi, I had to have my 2 fuel tanks removed to repair their supports and to have them cleaned and painted. So my cockpit was cut to lift the tanks out. the tanks are 150 gal each. The opening was cut on a bevel so when the floor will be set back it won't drop thru. Whats the best way to glass this back in place. The section is about 8ft by 4ft.
I was thinking of attaching perimeter supports and setting the section back and then filling the gap with resin.
On this type of repair, is it better to use polyester resin or a product like west system epoxy?
