A recent model Stingray 210 cuddy will fit, or an older model 195. Stingrays are very low profile cuddies, though. You'll suffer on headroom.

I don't believe anything but a cuddy would work. An express is out of the question. I know others that own Celebrities, 4-Winns and Searays that are cuddies that won't even come close. Most Bayliners are very squatty as well, thus won't fit your requirements.

Depending on the design of the front of the garage, it is not terribly expensive to have a 9 foot door installed. My doors (one double and a single) are on the gable end and it was a simple matter to remove the trim, raise the header and install the new door. Started at 8:00 am and the door was in and complete by 2:00 pm. If you have an 8'-6" beam that would be a problem on a single door because trim takes away from the full 9 foot width.

Door and ceiling height will dictate what boat will fit.

Most WT's are a tight fit with an 8' door... and they don't even have a cabin!

8' high, or 8' wide?

Either way, I don't think one will fit.

When the boat sits on the trailer, it is off the ground a couple of feet. So, I doubt an 18 footer would fit under an 8' header. Also the tongue of the trailer is 4-5 feet long. Most garages are 22' deep. So a 16 footer might fit lengthwise, but nothing larger.

You could put the boat on a custom dolly to solve some of the height and length issues, but realistically, even with that, the most you could do is a 21 footer.

I had an oversize 2 1/2 car that was 24' long. The door is 8 x 8 (yes, 7'11" high but a full 96 wide). My 19' bowrider has an 84" beam and sits on a tandem trailer. The OAW of the trailer is 92". She fit in the garage with the outdrive down and yes I did grease the fenders to get her in....LOL (just kidding, but it did take good driving skills). PS - the drywall was removed on 1 stud cavity to fit the outdrive.

My son's 21' cuddy also fits in the same 24' length, but his has a folding tongue. It clears the 7'11" height just fine, but we have to push it in manually with the tongue jack lowered a bit.

I think I would be raising the door. Then you don't have to worry about rails or lights,or uneven ground.
Sounds like a million dollar garage with a $10 door. There must be a foot or more clearance for door operation now.
You might be able to cheat some clearance for a taller door.
My garage is 24 X 32 and my 18ft Crestliner utility snuggly fit on a trailer has less than 3 feet total clearance.
