I'm adding a T&T to my 1990 60hp Johnson, and seeing as it has the sender on it the unit I'm therefore going to put in the gauge as well. There are 3 wires coming from the sender,

White/brown ( sender to S pole on gauge?)
black (ground but do i ground it at the Gauge or can I ground it at the powerhead?)
and
Green ?? ( the only green wire I have is the down on my T&T motor so what or where does this one go to?)

The green wire from the sender goes to ground. You can ground the black wire anywhere but make sure the gauge is also grounded.

Gauge will be grounded to the other gauges, so can i then just run the sender wire from the motor to the gauge, and then ground the 2 other wires at the powerhead or battery (as this is right in beside the splashwell). It'll mean only running one wire to the dash instead of 2 or three.
