Just goes to show that most boats are tougher (and sometimes smarter) than the captain. She says "get that guy off my back before I hurt somebody".

I actually hit some HUGE rollers at 40 the other day. I thought I was far enough out I was good. I felt the whole boat out of the water and the wind caught the front and started lifting it and the back hit and slammed it back down. Luckily, unlike that guy, I was going straight into them, so it just slammed me back on track (twice) without rolling or anything.

Tell you what, I learned a valuable lesson that day...and it sure puts the poop in the pants!

I agree I hit the wake of a 25+ crusier & that was the last time i ever want to get a boat out of the water unless its being loaded on a trailer. I couldnt tell how big his wake was until it was to late but lesson learned.

That guy was cutting way to close to the film crews boat, everyone is lucky to be alive.

Easily could have bounced the other direction....
