Whats the ruler for?

Hey guys, im about to order a carb kit x2 for my '93 90/65 Evinrude. I am currently looking at part 18-7046 which is the carb kit but im wondering what is the ruler for that is in the picture?

That is for setting the float level.

boy it doesnt seem like you get much with those kits...



Thanks a bunch for your help... Im fairly nervous about doing the carbs, but i have the mechanic book so i hope its fairly easy.

No, not much to those kits. That's whay most folks prefer OE carb kits.

It's actually OEM (Origanil Equipment Manufacturer), in this case the kit would come from BRP (Evinrude / Johnson).
