I was told my 1977 70 hp Johnson can easily be converted to 90 hp.
Any truth to that? If so what has to be done?

They are easily convertible to a 90hp if you can find someone with a 90hp that will trade you for your 70. These scams have been around for years.

No... the only 3 cylinder Johnrude that made near that hp was the SST60/70.
