Whats these extra parts for ?

Bought a impellor kit for a 1993 Mariner 115 Hp, broke it down and there are some parts in the kit I don't see on the stuff I am taking off , 2 o-rings , 3 small gasket washers , and 2 rubber things I think are called wear sleeve and seal ring ( looking in the repair manuel ) that I think go to the top of the drive shaft . I don't see how I can get up there to them . Do you just forget them and replace just what you see ??? Thanx Cooter
