whats this wake like?

hi folks, thinking of buying this boat at the weekend,but only want it if the wake is good off it. the owner say it is, but just want to make sure as im travelling far to get it. anyone had one of these boats???

That's not a wake boat, it's a competition ski boat. From what I can tell of the pictures the hull design is similar to older Mastercrafts, which is no surprise because nearly everyone emulated them (let the hull-wars begin....)

Anyway, I also own a competition ski boat, and at wake boarding speeds it throws a very nice wake for boarding. More than enough for any beginner up to intermediate. Take some extra people along or fat sacs and you'll do just fine. If you speed up to 30 or so, the wake flattens out quite nicely for skiing or slalom on whatever you like to ride.

I think if the boat is a good deal (and there's a title like the previous poster mentioned), go for it.

It looks like an old stars and stripes. Any of those ski comp boats will make a good wake if you throw enough ballast in it.

Thats not a wakeboard boat, its an old ski boat that wake will be pretty flat with out some serious ballast. The wake wouldnt be the issue to worry about since you can add ballast, i would be more worried about the condition of the motor and drive components.

its alright for some mate. but money doesnt grow on trees. anyhow i bought this and when your going slow the wake is good enough
