What's under the floor of a 1985 Bayliner Capri 19foot?

I recently purchased a 1985 Bayliner Capri 19 foot. I've obtained a teak door and trim that had been in a floor storage locker from another boat. I'd like to cut a hole in the floor of my Capri, install the door and trim and fabricate a cooler under the floor in the Capri's floor's center and access via the teak door. However, I once replaced the floor on a much smaller boat years ago and found a fiberglass structural tunnel running and the length of it's keel.
Could anyone tell me what's under my Capri's center floor between both sets of seats - other than foam that is! if possibly? approx. how much room (depth wise) is there between the floor and hull?
Thanks for your time and consideration! Geno

Welcome to iboats!:welcome:

There was probably a ski locker there originally. A previous owner must have eliminated it when replacing the cockpit sole (a.k.a. "deck").

If you need pics i can take some of my 1986 capri 19 foot for you and show you the original ski locker. I have the floor from the ski locker back cut off because i was gonna replace it and its just sitting now.
