I am a newbie learning and first boat. 1992 180 nitro F/S 150 evinrude. had a friend come over today just a good ole boy who knows more about boats than i do. Now he showed me alot about my boat and answered alot of questions i had on certain things. one of them being that certain things are not getting power like fish finder, radio, and live well. So the first thing he thought was lets check your fuses first, but we searched in vain, followed the wires as far as we could see and and searched the entire boat for fuse box, and nothing, found no fuses no fuse box and no circuit breakers. well with the exception of one 3 amp fuse on a wire and a couple of in line fuses coming off the batterries in the engine compartment. are we missing something? Is there a fuse box or panel or circuit breakers on a 1992 180 nitro by tracker?

not sure on the nitro but look under the dash area for a block where the wires seem to cluster it may look like a group of 8 little square steel boxs bolted to a rail. around that year self reseting fuses were used alot. it would be better for you to start with a volt meter and check the switchs for power, there should be a switch labeled master or acc see if you have power to the switch and if the switch works. as you have more than one problem the chances are the problem is before the fuses
