1964 60hp Sea King (Johnson) with all Johnson controls and electric.
While replacing the choke switch in the dash, found that there are not any fuses on the boat anywhere! Rear junction box has a wire jumpered from the positive to the large (8 guage? - in harness) wire to the ignition switch, no fuse. Should I replace it with a 20 amp inline fuse back there?
I am planning on running this wire to a fuse block up front and then from there to the ignition switch and lights (no lights on boat now). Or should I pull a separate wire up for the accessories?
